Review

This quirky little beach property keeps going from strength to strength and is, today, one of our favourite destinations on the island! Owned and managed by Sue and Andrew, their attention to detail is present throughout…from the well appointed and comfortable rooms to the orderly and very good dining. With one of the best beaches on the island on their front door, it is no wonder that Echo Beach is doing well.

Beach

One of the best beaches on the island in that it is great for a good proportion of the day. The area of beach that stretches from Paje to the north of the southern area of the coast, is certainly one of the best for both quality and amount of usability….the only drawback is this beach is also popular with the larger Italian resorts and, as such, there has been an increase in beach sellers over the last few years.

Rooms

Much improved, all the rooms at Echo Beach now have aircon as standard as well as a small balcony and interior decoration. It has made them feel far more homely and inviting and, with use of Zanzibari lamps and "objets" there is a good feel to them.

Layout

Of all of the properties at this bracket, due to the width of their plot, it is a refreshing change to have a layout that has a good number of sea view rooms and few with a garden view (or view of the building in front). All located around a good sized pool, and featuring a good (if not stunning) bar and restaurant, Echo Beach have gotten things pretty well right.

Feedback

All I can say for now is that it was perfect. We had the most fantastic time and couldn't have wished to spend our honeymoon at a more special place (Echo Beach). The staff, food and accommodation- not to mention the location were all second to none. Surpassed all our expectations. Sue and Andrew and Zoe are so welcoming and excellent hosts. I was in tears leaving!

Thank you so much for the recommendation and we're already saving to go out and visit them again next year!
